                                                                              Who We Are

Unity Light Ministries, International, is a non-denominational Christian ministry. It seeks to provide nurturing environments so that all people may discover and build stronger relationships with God by equipping them through various faith-building experiences to enhance their unique spiritual gifts, knowledge, skills, and abilities to extend God’s love into their local communities.

Mission Statement
We exist to make new disciples and restore Disciples of Christ to renew fellowship with God.

Vision Statement
Our vision is to provide opportunities for individuals to fulfill the Great Commission through authentic biblical relationships with other Disciples of Christ.

Our Beliefs

Our faiths in Jesus Christ represent the core beliefs of the membership of Unity Light Ministries, International, and all ministries thereof:

I. God
We believe God exists in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three persons are co-equal and are one God (Genesis 1:1, 26; Matthew 28:19; I Peter 1:2).

II. Word of God
We believe that the Bible is the inerrant revelation of God's nature. We also believe in the confirmation of the Holy Spirit and the discernment of God’s Word (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Timothy 1:13; Numbers 22:28; Psalm 119:150; Proverbs 30:5; Joel 2:28).

III. Salvation
Salvation is by grace through faith alone, and it is God’s free gift to us; believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 3:26; Romans 10:9-10).

IV. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe in the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We respect all baptisms performed in spiritual obedience to the Lord as a one-time act of identification with Jesus Christ as one's personal Lord and Savior. We also believe in the Lord's death, burial, resurrection, and promised return (Matthew 28-18-20; I Corinthians 11:23-32).

V. The Christian Church
We believe the Christian church is made of all who have been saved through faith in Jesus Christ. We also believe that Christ is the head of the church, not any person, group, or religious organization. Even though we value association and cooperation with other Christian groups, we believe that our ministry should be independent, self-governing, and free from denominational control (Matthew 16:18; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Hebrews 10:25; Colossians 1:18).

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
